JLL is a professional real estate service firm that has been a partner for organizations looking to build value and invest in real estate for over 250 years. A frequent client of Frey Design, JLL commissioned our agency to create logos and branding for two properties on Stanwix Street in Pittsburgh, PA. This included creating new visual identities while highlighting the unique and beneficial amenities of each property.
Two separate brands were created for these properties to highlight the key features of what made each building stand out. In branding the properties, Frey capitalized on their separate, highly-stylized visual identities that honed in on the many features of each building. The tagline “Love Where You Work” became the signature tagline of the brand voice for 11 Stanwix. To develop the brand for 20 Stanwix Place, Frey created the tagline “Make an Impression,” capitalizing on the modern and clean visual design of the overall building.
To promote 11 Stanwix, Frey designed a logo that incorporated a tall and slender word mark with numerical icons, representing the distinct physical features of the building. A black and gold color palette introduced a timeless and elegant feel, and serif and sans serif typefaces added a sense of balance between this elegance and modernism. These brand elements were incorporated into an 11 Stanwix marketing brochure and eblasts to show off the available spaces within the building.
In creating the logo and visual elements for 20 Stanwix Place, Frey wanted to rely heavily on minimalism, conveying sophistication and modernism to potential tenants. A vibrant purple and coral color palette introduced an energetic life into the building’s brand, with a thin and curvy typeface establishing an upbeat identity. The 20 Stanwix building needed to be easily identifiable from its uniqueness in shape and color. As our agency created the brochure and the outbound marketing campaign, visitors and potential tenants took notice to the colorful new personality of the building.
