JLL is a professional real estate services firm with a deep passion for their industry and representatives with expertise in a variety of property types. To get new tenants excited about their 300 South Wacker property, JLL hired Frey Design to create a new brand strategy and a unique multi-touch marketing campaign. Frey drew upon typographical aesthetics within the environmental design and a variety of marketing collateral, establishing a new internal visual identity for the building.
With a keen eye on both client desires as well as budget, Frey Design created an in-depth environmental design piece that defined the marketing floor’s goals and aesthetic. The environmental design accounted for seven full walls, eight column wraps and a large floor graphic. The walls became bold typographical word walls, inciting a brand narrative that captured the minds and imaginations of visitors and tenants alike. The columns introduced key information regarding touchpoints within the building. As the final piece, the floor graphic was designed as a large compass that situated the visitor within the building.
Frey Design created bold new environmental graphics for 300 South Wacker’s specialized fitness center. Drawing upon Chicago’s tradition of excellence in athletics, the fitness center was imbued with imagery of the city’s most prominent stadiums, including Soldier Field, the United Center, and Wrigley Field. The graphics covered three of the Fitness Center’s walls and were overlaid with bold typography, tying back into the brand imagery from the marketing center.
Frey was assigned to create an array of brand collateral for 300 South Wacker’s marketing efforts. To increase visibility for the features and amenities included when leasing, Frey designed an 8-page marketing brochure that offered a detailed look at each of the spaces within the building. Marketing flyers were also created to highlight specific floor-plates as well as an alternative, six-page accordion brochure. The brand collateral continued the visual aesthetics created within the environmental designs, increasing the brand recognition throughout different platforms.
To promote and showcase the Spec Suite of 300 South Wacker, Frey Design partnered with the building’s marketing team to create a multi-touch outbound marketing campaign. This campaign included various print and web advertisements, direct mailer pieces, and email templates. A specific promotion utilized the 300 South Wacker graphic elements branded onto a Tile® chip. Other promotions included open house email and print invitations, full-page print advertisements, and more.
Frey Design took on a large multi-point real estate marketing endeavor and executed it to a tee, going above and beyond client expectations to deliver spectacular brand materials. The ingenuity in the materials showcased our agency’s passion for pushing boundaries and brainstorming new solutions.
