The Ruth Mott Foundation’s mission is to advocate, stimulate, and support community vitality in its home community of Flint, Michigan. The Foundation envisions communities of hope and pride, whose neighborhood environments and urban core are safe, attractive, and healthy, enriched by cultural diversity and an engaged citizenry.
After an extensive RFP process, The Ruth Mott Foundation selected Frey Design because of its years of experience helping elevate other nonprofit brands. The engagement started with a logo redesign for its parent company, The Ruth Mott Foundation, and one of the largest privately-owned community parks in Michigan, Applewood. After a successful logo system redesign, Frey moved over to website content strategy and eventually a complete redesign and development of a web platform that has been recognized as an outstanding success. The website includes an API connection to the 3rd party grant management platform, Giving Data. Frey picks up this data and displays it in a simple, searchable, and easy-to-use grant search engine on its new website. Other features of the new site include a dual pathway into both the Applewood and Foundation site for simple user navigation and a robust event calendar to promote the many ongoing Foundation and Applewood events.
